Changing your mind

For a distance purchase of these goods, tell us that you wish to cancel within 14 days after the day you receive them. You then have a further 14 days to return them. You may also cancel before delivery. Contact us using the email or postal address below, stating your name, order reference and a clear decision to cancel. No special form is required. Please ask for return instructions rather than sending goods to the correspondence address without arrangement.

Handling and return costs

You may inspect the goods as you would in a shop. Keep bulbs protected and brushes clean and unused beyond that inspection. We may make a lawful deduction for diminished value caused by unnecessary handling, but not simply because a package was opened to inspect it. You pay the direct cost of a change-of-mind return. We do not charge a restocking fee. Faulty or incorrectly supplied goods are dealt with separately and we cover reasonable agreed return costs.

Refund timing

Where the whole order is cancelled, we refund the goods and the cost of our standard delivery option. Any extra amount paid for an enhanced delivery option is not included. We refund within 14 days after receiving the returned goods or evidence that you have sent them back, whichever is earlier. If we have agreed to collect the goods, the applicable refund deadline runs from your cancellation notice. Refunds use the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed, without a refund fee. An unpaid request has no payment to refund.

Faults and incorrect goods

Goods must be as described, of satisfactory quality and fit for purpose. You normally have a short-term right to reject faulty goods within 30 days; other remedies may include repair, replacement, a price reduction or a final right to reject depending on the circumstances. Contact us before disposing of goods. These rights are separate from, and are not restricted by, our change-of-mind procedure.
