01 / Identify the cap
E27 is a large screw cap; E14 is a smaller screw cap. B22 has two bayonet pins and locks with a push and twist. GU10 has two short twist-lock pins. They are different fittings. Switch off power before inspecting the old bulb, and never force a cap into a holder.
02 / Compare lumens, not just watts
Lumens describe light output; watts describe power use. Our A60 options give 806 lm, while the candle and globe give 470 lm. A 345 lm GU10 concentrates light into a 36° beam, so a direct comparison with a general room bulb can be misleading.
03 / Choose the feeling
2200 K is very warm and amber-like. 2700 K is warm white for a comfortable room. 4000 K is a more neutral white that can be useful for task areas. Colour temperature does not tell you brightness; check both values.
04 / Check the whole fitting
All listed lamps require 220–240 V AC and are non-dimmable. Match the fixture’s limits, clearance and ventilation requirements. A wide G95 globe needs more space than an A60. Do not use an unsuitable lamp in an enclosed or damp fitting. Ask an electrician if the fitting is damaged or you are uncertain.
