LESS GUESSWORK. BETTER JOBS.

Choose your paint brush

Start with what you already have: the coating on the tin, the cap in the fitting and the job in front of you.

Complete offset radiator brush

01 / Read the coating first

Our synthetic brushes are intended for water-based paint. The 38 mm mixed-bristle option is intended for oil-based coatings. The paint maker’s instructions take priority: some specialist coatings require a different applicator or cleaning method. Do not choose on width alone.

02 / Give the head room to work

Choose 25 mm angled for edges, 38 mm for trim and narrow boards, 50 mm for general furniture and small areas, or 75 mm for broad panels. The offset radiator head gives reach behind obstacles. It is not a substitute for removing a radiator safely when the job requires access.

03 / Load less, brush evenly

Dip only the lower part of the bristles, tap off excess and start away from the final edge. Finish with light strokes. Pressing hard splays the head and leaves ridges; reloading little and often is usually easier to control.

04 / Clean for the next job

Remove excess coating first. Follow the paint instructions for cleaning and waste disposal; never pour solvent or paint down a drain. Keep the ferrule and handle from soaking, reshape the head and dry flat. Do not rest the brush on its bristles.
